Portland

I had a grand time in the big city today!
Mom and I rode the max, met all sorts of interesting people and even managed to have lunch with Auntie Abbie.


All in all, quite spectacular. I give it ten grunts of approval.

A day in the life...

This morning began with my usual ab crunch and push up routine.
I make looking good look so easy!


(Yes, you can see my little booty. Mom thought this was cute, apparently).


Next, I ate some tasty prunes. Dad said I was a messy eater for some reason. And he wouldn't let me hold the spoon. Maybe next time?



I got this brilliant plan while playing with Dad. (Don't worry Grandma, dad didn't leave me for even one second while I was looking out the window) As I contemplated the trees, an idea struck me...


Surprise! Baby in a box!


I gave mom a good scare. See my mischievous little grin? Yeah, that's for a reason.

Strawberries

I discovered that I love eating fresh strawberries.
Seriously, try them. Delicious!
Today was Uncle Josh's birthday so we all went over to celebrate with the family. It was a blast! Mom forgot the camera though, so we don't have any pictures : (
here's one of me and my Uncle, chillin' with some tunes. He's pretty cool!

Teeth.

So far my teeth have been a real pain in the posterior. : ( I haven't even seen them yet, but my gums are turning white and I've been making this face often...

I got to see my Great Great Grandma Nonni the other day. She was pretty taken aback by my cuteness!

Great Grandma Patty got a new car, and I had fun driving it with grandpa. It goes FAST!

Dad got a new hair cut the other day. I think he looks pretty great! (picture coming soon...) Auntie Jordyn and I love playing in the Hammock when its sunny out. She's a pretty awesome Auntie!

That

Jump!

Mom was gone almost all day at work, so I hung out with Dad. We had fun, and I discovered that it is endlessly amusing to watch him jump. So, I made dad jump up and down while I giggled. (Mostly I was laughing at how silly he looked, but don't tell him I said that)

Also, I discovered that I can stand up on my own. Well, not really. Dad has to hold me. But he lets go for a few seconds and I can stand by myself! I'm pretty proud of that accomplishment!

Anyway... when mom came home we all went on a walk.
They took lots of pictures of me and I was accommodatingly cute. As always. (hey! its my job!)





Apparently they like flowers? I want to eat them.

I like food. and baths.

Lately, I've been eating this new stuff. Its cold and smooth and yummy. I think they call them frozen mangoes? Anyway, I'm a big fan.

when I first ate it though, I wasn't sure what I thought. I gave mom and dad my disapproving eye brow look.


It didn't have the desired effect. They just laughed!

Oh! I love taking baths. One time my grandma decided to bathe me in her big bowl. It was pretty fun splashing everyone!

Beginning in the beginning

Hi! My name is Cyrus! I started out in rather cramped quarters. But I made the best of them. (That belly button just HAD to pop. It was getting in the way of my remodeling project!)

Eventually, I moved to a slightly bigger abode. It was spacious allright, but so COLD! I wasnt sure how I felt about it...

I like snuggling though, and apparently so does Mom. It turned out pretty well, I'd say.

This is kind of a boring first post, I know. I promise to chronicle more of my actual adventures next time! Until then, I won't stop until I solve my never-ending-quest to discover a means of escape from my car seat.
